It's been a busy year for our team at IntuBlade!

We've been working hard to bring our innovative video laryngoscope to market, and we've made some exciting progress.

Conferences and Events

In 2022, we completed the NSF Innovation Corps Immersion Program at UC Berkeley, where we gained valuable insights and resources to help us bring our product to market. We also attended a cocktail event at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) with the UCSF Rosenman Institute, where we had the opportunity to network with industry professionals and learn more about the latest developments in the medical field. As if that weren't enough, were also thrilled to win 1st place in the Startup Showcase at the Innovator World Congress, the largest physician innovation event. We couldn't have done it without the support of InnovatorMD and our other partners, and we're grateful for the opportunity to continue building our company.

Team

In addition to making connections and learning new skills, we've also been working on building our team. We're proud to announce some new hires:

  • Tyler Panian, technical lead

  • Julie Byers, quality lead

  • Dani Ford, graphic design and brand development

These talented professionals are helping us take our product to the next level, and we're excited to have them on board.

Intellectual Property

We've also made some important strides in the realm of IP. We've submitted a PCT foreign filing, a divisional patent, and we've responded to an office action. These are welcomed additions to our portfolio of IP that we’ve been building since 2018. These actions are helping us protect our intellectual property and ensure that we can bring our product to market without any legal hurdles.

Fundraising

We've had some exciting news on the funding front. We recently concluded a pre-seed round with the Vituity Team and Inflect Health to help us bring our product to market. This funding will allow us to continue developing and refining our device, and we're excited to see what the future holds.

Next Steps

All in all, it's been a fantastic year for our team at IntuBlade. We're looking forward to continuing our work in the coming months and bringing our innovative video laryngoscope to market.

Stay tuned for updates!
