IntuBlade connects over USB-C as a UVC camera.

Which IntuBlade do I have?

  1. Look for the factory icon on the box or on the sterile pouch

    1. The date is listed next to the factory icon

  2. Match that date:

If the date is BEFORE 2025-09-02

→ This is a V1 IntuBlade
→ Compatible with iPad (USB-C) and Android
Not compatible with iPhone

If the date is ON or AFTER 2025-09-02

→ This is a V2 IntuBlade
Compatible with iPhone (USB-C), iPad (USB-C), and Android

Requirements

  • USB-C with OTG/Host enabled

  • UVC camera support

  • Android 9+ or iPadOS 17+

  • No beta OS builds

iphone and iPad (USB-C only)

Android coverage (tested at scale)

  • Works on most USB-C phones/tablets that support OTG + UVC.

  • Validated at scale: 800+ models across Samsung, HUAWEI/HONOR, Xiaomi/Redmi/POCO, OPPO, vivo/iQOO, realme, Motorola, OnePlus, Google Pixel, Sony, LG, and more.

  • Foldables/Tablets tested: Samsung Z Flip 3/4/5/6, W25, Tab S9; HUAWEI Pocket 2, P50 Pocket, Nova Flip, Mate X5; Xiaomi MIX Flip.

Quick self-check (30 seconds)

  1. Plug IntuBlade into your device

  2. Tap Allow for “Use as USB camera”

  3. Open the IntuBlade app → live video should appear

No video? Turn on Settings → OTG/USB accessories, try a different USB-C cable, confirm Android 9+.

Known no-go devices (do not use)

  • Samsung: DeX not supported. Tab A9/A9+ (Helio G99), Tab S6 Lite, Tab S7 FE, Tab A7 (Helio P22T).

  • Samsung S10/Note10 international variants underperform; use US/Canada models.

  • Xiaomi/Redmi: Redmi Pad SE (Helio G85), Redmi 13C (Helio G85).

  • AGM: PAD P2 (Helio G99).

  • vivo: Y75 (Helio G96).

Full compatibility list (V2: manufactured after 2025-09-01)

Distributors & purchasers

  • Use Rev on the label to identify version: Rev C1 = V1; Rev D1 = V2.

  • Lot numbers provide full traceability for complaints, repairs, and post-market surveillance.

  • If you need a label callout, we can add “(iOS + Android)” on V2 packaging, but we keep the primary differentiator as Rev D1 for clarity.
