Our Story

A New Approach to Airway Management

In 2008, an Army medic in Afghanistan witnessed a preventable death on the battlefield. A soldier, gravely injured by a suicide bomber, couldn’t be intubated because of obstructed visibility. That tragedy drove the medic to spend over a decade perfecting a new tool that would prevent such outcomes.

That journey led to IntuBlade. Built by a former Army medic who saw firsthand the pitfalls of traditional scopes, this device uses patented lens-clearing technology for fast, reliable intubations. IntuBlade strives to cut down on infections, brain damage, and fatalities, costing billions every year, and stands ready to change how airways are managed. We believe it’s the future of intubations.
